Solid materials and one-turn closure
In the second development version, we focused on making Nikini even more enjoyable for you. Both in terms of user experience and appearance. Nikini 2 is made of stainless steel and, instead of being coated, is made directly from brass and bronze, which mature over time and acquire a patina. And based on your feedback, we have also doubled the speed of opening and closing. One turn and you’re ready to go! You can write almost instantly. The threads are still extremely reliable and will last for ages.

Tailored to your needs
We designed the new Nikini 2 to fit you exactly as you need it to. All metal versions are available in a choice of pen lengths and shapes. The short pocket pen measures just 99 mm and fits in any pocket, so you can keep it handy for quick notes. The longer version measures 123 mm and is perfect for long writing sessions. Each pen can have either a round cap, which is the epitome of minimalism and more affordable, or an edged cap with a stylish clip that prevents it from rolling on sloped surfaces. Which one suits you best?
Nothing limits you
The grip of the pen is the same throughout the length of the Kayu Nikini, 9.5mm. Because we wanted the cap on this mini pen to fit precisely with the nib and not bother you in your hand, we invented a new way to fit the nib in the pen.
Absolute modularity
Nikini goes the way of replaceability and reparability. Therefore, each of the only five parts used on the pen replaced with a new one. Whatever happens.
You can rely on the nib
We use tried and tested, truly reliable tips from the German company Schmidt. These gold-plated stainless steel tips are available in two thicknesses: F (0.5 mm) or M (0.6 mm).

Closed length
99 mm / 123 mm
The pocket pen measures exactly 99 mm and fits in any pocket. The extended version measures 123 mm and is suitable even for larger hands.
Open length
117 mm / 141 mm
The data is given for the short/extended version. The open length is measured including the tip, and the grip space is not limited in any way.
Grip diameter
9,5 mm
The grip diameter is the same along the entire length of the pen so that nothing restricts you when writing.
Weight
19,5 g - 25,8 g
The weight varies depending on the selected pen length and material. Stainless steel is the lightest, bronze is the heaviest. The weight includes the cap attached to the other end.
Filling
The short version of Kayu Nikini 2 can only be filled with cartridges. The extended version can be filled with cartridges or a converter.
Nibs
We use high-quality tips from German manufacturers in basic thicknesses F and M made of gold-plated steel.
Engraving
For an additional fee of CZK 480, we can engrave the pen with a monogram or text of your choice on the back of the pen.
